Where is Finèsse Detailing located?
We are located at 439B Main Street, Port Washington, NY 11050. All detailing is carried out at our Main Street shop, so vehicles come to us rather than us travelling to you.
What areas of Long Island do you serve?
We serve car, motorcycle, RV and boat owners across northern Nassau County, including Port Washington, Manorhaven, Sands Point, Flower Hill, Plandome, Manhasset, Manhasset Hills, Roslyn, Roslyn Heights, Great Neck, Great Neck Estates, Kings Point, Lake Success, Old Westbury, Glen Cove, Sea Cliff and Mineola.
Do you offer car detailing in Manhasset and Great Neck?
Yes. Manhasset and Great Neck customers make up a large share of our work. Our Main Street shop is a short drive from both, and vehicles are booked in by appointment so you are not left waiting.
Do you offer mobile detailing?
No. We work exclusively from our Main Street shop in Port Washington. Detailing indoors lets us control lighting, temperature and dust, which matters a great deal for paint correction and ceramic coating results.
Do you detail boats in Port Washington?
Yes. Marine detailing is a core part of what we do, and Port Washington and Manhasset Bay boat owners are among our regular customers. Call or text us to discuss your vessel and where it is berthed.

Do you work on all vehicle types?
Yes. We detail cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, RVs, specialty vehicles and boats. Each service is tailored to the vehicle and its condition.
What is included in ceramic coating?
Our ceramic coating service includes paint correction, multi-stage polishing and professional coating application, so the paint is corrected before it is sealed rather than locking defects in underneath.
How long does ceramic coating take?
Ceramic coating is applied after paint correction, so the vehicle stays with us noticeably longer than a standard detail. The exact timeline depends on the size of the vehicle and the condition of the paint, and we confirm it with you when you book.
Can you apply ceramic coating to a boat?
Marine surfaces, particularly gelcoat, need different preparation and products than automotive paint. Get in touch with the details of your vessel and we will talk through the right protection for it.
What is the difference between ceramic coating and wax?
Wax sits on top of the paint and wears away over weeks or months. A ceramic coating bonds to the paint for far longer-lasting gloss, water beading and UV protection, which is why it is only applied after the paint has been properly corrected.
Do you offer motorcycle detailing?
Yes. We detail motorcycles, including paint, chrome and leather care, at the same Main Street shop.

How much does professional detailing cost on Long Island?
Pricing depends on the size of the vehicle, its condition and the services involved - a maintenance detail and a full paint correction with ceramic coating sit at very different points. Call or text us with your vehicle details and we will give you an accurate quote.
How often should I detail my car?
We recommend a complete detail every 3-4 months, with maintenance washes in between. Ceramic coated vehicles can generally go longer between full details.
